Immanuel is a loving, imaginative, justice-seeking community of faith in Kingston, New York

We gather to welcome all as Christ welcomes us, without reserve or judgment. We enjoy music of varied styles, wonderful preaching, delicious food, and caring companionship.

We are a Reconciling in Christ congregation of the Lutheran Church (ELCA) which means that we ensure the welcome, inclusion, celebration, and advocacy for people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions; and seek to work for racial equity and commit to anti-racist work.

You are a unique and beloved child of God. You are accepted and affirmed just as you are – with all your differences and all your gifts. We invite you to join us in the wild belief that with God and one another we can make a difference. Join us on the sacred journey towards a better church and a better world!
